Zambia Reports faces legal consequences for defaming Rajan Mahtani

On Michael Sata’s death Rajan Mahtani panicked and started to move his money out of Zambia, Portland Cement Factory Zambia owner Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is a member of the Cartel, Mahtani is operating his bank illegally, these were some of the articles which were published by Zambia Reports in the past few months. Though none of them were true in any context, the whole intent was to defame Rajan Mahtani and his company.

Several warnings and repeated notices didn’t bother Zambia Reports to halt this shameful campaign and they continued to execute their mission by writing more against Mahtani and his company. As a consequence, Zambia Reports now face civil as well criminal charges to their name for defamation under the Cyber Crime department of Zambia. Confirmed reports suggest that this action was taken after Zambia Reports crossed its limit and began to write events which never took place. For an instance, when the former President of Zambia, Michael Sata died, Rajan Mahtani was not present. Irrespective of this fact, the news portal published an article which claimed that Rajan Mahtani looked tensed and was constantly talking over the phone.

The string of allegations has been continuing for months and moreover, the involvement of Zambia Reports is evident. On one occasion when the original identity of the writers was asked from the website, it clearly showed no interest in reverting back with details. As the last option, the aforesaid measure was taken by Dr. Rajan Mahtani to overcome the growing level of conspiracy against his name. It would be interesting to observe what lies ahead in this case and when can the world witness the culprit who is behind this shameful deed.

  1. Zambia reports have crossed their limit by continuously defaming dr. Rajan Mahtani. Now its time to show some legal action to them. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is an eminent personality in Zambia, a genuine and down to earth person.
