If one gives a deeper view to the activities of the conspirators in the past years, a pattern seems to emerge. Previously, majority of these conspirators worked by themselves at regular intervals to defame their targets. However, recent activities confirm that these conspirators have joined hands with each other and now trying to establish coordinated attacks. Dr. Mahtani has been a major victim of these conspiracies over the years. He is a noted individual and popular businessman in Zambia and is responsible for various successful businesses. The common people are the major benefits of Dr. Mahtani’s establishments, adding to its popularity every day. This has obviously made the conspirators jealous and full of hate.
The recent incident between Finance Bank Zambia and Simaata is an example showing the level of conspiracy some people can undertake to fulfill their hatred or jealousy. Simaata recently accused Finance Bank of fraud and malpractice. These accusations were given as testimonials at several courts, which amplified the value of his fake rumors and started a negative campaign against the bank. Even after Finance Bank claimed that Simaata was breaching the contract he signed with the bank, the spotlight was majorly on the bank which was increasingly losing its customers and clientele. Finance Bank’s only viable option left was to take this matter to legal space and a case was launched at the Supreme Court of Zambia, with Dr. Mahtani’s help.
The case went on for months and was ultimately won by Finance Bank. With this win, the conspirators of the bank are also becoming more cautious with their fake news campaigns and have reduced spreading the ridiculous news.
